Beta trial to help shape the future of myGov
The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is looking for people to participate in its myGov Beta trial, to help improve the way government delivers services.
The DTA is redeveloping myGov to help people more easily find and access government payments and services, using myGov Beta as a trial website with limited functionality that lets users test new and improved features.
The new features provide information about government services and people’s use of them. The DTA is testing the website with groups of users who will provide feedback to help improve the site.
The trial will allow participants to find information about the JobSeeker payment, claim for the JobSeeker payment, check JobSeeker payment details, see the status of their JobSeeker claim, and read and manage messages in their myGov inbox. Like myGov, the information viewed and entered on this website is secure.
Those interested can take part in the trial if they are thinking of claiming a JobSeeker payment and have an existing Centrelink account linked to myGov. The responses will help the DTA determine if applicants meet the requirements for the trial. Those who meet the requirements of the trial will hear from the DTA within one business day, with further instructions.
At the end of the trial period, the DTA will email a survey to participants about their experience, using the feedback to improve the features on the myGov Beta website. The trial survey does not require participants’ personal details relating to their JobSeeker claim.
Participants can leave the trial at any time, while still claiming JobSeeker through Centrelink through their myGov account. For more information about the myGov Beta trial, email mygov-beta@dta.gov.au. Please do not give private details about yourself in this email.
