Vic Government signs state purchase contract with ServiceNow
ServiceNow has secured a three-year state purchase contract (SPC) with the Victorian Government. The whole-of-government procurement agreement will provide more than 100 departments and agencies with access to ServiceNow cloud products and services.
Under the agreement with the Department of Government Services, the departments and agencies will be able to procure ServiceNow’s Now Platform using the same standardised terms and conditions.
The agreement will also involve the creation of a VicGov ServiceNow CIO Forum and ServiceNow Centre of Excellence to support state government customers of the platform.
Finally, ServiceNow and the Australian Government have committed to investing in building digital skills across the state as part of the company’s training and skills programs.
ServiceNow MD for Australia and New Zealand Barry Dietrich said the arrangement builds on the company’s longstanding relationship with the Victorian Government.
“This SPC will lead to a new era of efficiency, innovation and productivity for the government and citizens of Victoria,” he said.
The agreement will run until 12 November 2026. It covers services including IT services, operations and asset management, as well as security operations, customer service management, field service management, order management and HR service delivery. The contract has the ability to add additional ServiceNow products on request.
