Tenable launches security suite for secure agencies
Exposure management company Tenable has launched a new security solution aimed at government bodies and other organisations operating in highly secure environments.
Tenable Enclave Security is designed to help users discover, assess and analyse IT assets and containers within air-gapped environments to prevent breaches and identify exposures before they cause damage. The solution has been built to stringent security requirements to support government agencies and commercial organisations with strict data residency, security or privacy requirements. These include the US Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) standards up to High or Impact Level 5.
Tenable Enclave Security can be deployed on-premises or in a virtual private cloud or commercial cloud. The solution can help agencies secure containers before they hit production by exposing and addressing their potential vulnerabilities. It acts as a central repository for security tools for IT assets and modern workloads.
Tenable CSO and Tenable Public Sector president Robert Huber said the consolidated approach taken to the design of Tenable Enclave Security aims to eliminate tool sprawl while reducing costs for users.
“As a leader in vulnerability management and cloud security and a long-time partner of governments all around the world, we’re perfectly positioned to tap into our expertise and deliver mission critical capabilities to assist government agencies as they transform their IT strategy and safely embrace modern workloads to speed innovation,” he said. “With Tenable Enclave Security, agencies are now able to gain a fuller understanding of their exposure and risk with the ability to continuously discover, assess and prioritise vulnerabilities across IT assets and container images, all from a single, highly secure framework.”
