The Pro-AV market’s increasing demand for higher pixel density and higher definition, and the narrowing of pixel gaps of LED displays is a continuing trend. Mission-critical environments, including control and command centres, are one of the key applications. Governments have invested heavily in integrating the latest LED technology to facilitate fast and informed decisions.

Absen’s CR Series MiniLED product is a control room solution that has been designed to provide a high level of detail to support mission-critical decision-making in secure operations.

The product is suitable for the corporate and control room sectors, featuring pixel-to-pixel HD in 4K and 8K, while achieving high greyscale at low brightness levels via CrystalView technology. It also supports HDR10 standard (high-dynamic-range), allowing for a broader range of colours.

The MiniLED display combines a 4-in-1 pixel package with Common Cathode technology, in order to deliver a panel that is designed to be 2.5 times stronger and more robust than conventional LEDs. All the while improving brightness and contrast with better heat dissipation and consuming 20% less power.

First launched in 2018, the product is designed to be efficient, reliable and long-lasting and is available in four pixel pitches (0.9, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.9 mm). The series is designed to be installer-friendly and accessible for servicing and maintenance.

It is also equipped with two power banks and two receiving cards per panel to ensure there will be a failsafe in the case of a failure, supporting continued operation and uninterrupted signal.
