8common wins NSW Dept of Industry tender
Software technology company 8common Limited has scored another NSW government customer win for its Expense8 expense management platform.
The NSW Department of Industry has selected the platform through a tender process. The department will be the first in the state to incorporate Expense8’s pre-trip approval travel management module into their implementation.
The initial contract has a three-year term, with provisions for extensions for a further two, and will yield annual recurring revenue of $147,000 together with expense and travel related transaction revenues. It involves delivering Expense8 on a software-as-a-service basis.
With the win 8common now has contracts with 50% of NSW government departments, including the Department of Education, Transport for NSW and the Department of Justice.
“We are delighted that the NSW Department of Industry has selected Expense8 as its expense management system. The tender win further expands our presence across government and is testament to 8common’s continuous commitment to the sector,” 8common CEO Nick Gonios said.
Outside of NSW, recent major customer wins include the federal departments of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Treasury.
