ATech selected for ICT services panel

Brisbane-based ATech has been appointed to the Queensland Government's ICTSS.13.03B Services Panel. The panel is a whole-of-government arrangement that provides agencies with access to ICT services from a panel of prequalified suppliers.

Suppliers on the panel are arranged into categories based on their ability to deliver specific business outcomes. The industry-defined categories are built from the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA). ATech’s cloud hosting and web development services have been accredited under the following categories:

• Strategy and Architecture
• Business Change
• Solution Development and Implementation
• Service Management
• Client Interface
   

The company specialises in systems requiring scalability, high availability and robust cybersecurity. Local client organisations include Virgin Australia, Seqwater and Brisbane City Council.

“We are delighted to be appointed to the Queensland Government’s prequalified suppliers panel for ICT,” said Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann, Managing Director of ATech.

“ATech has worked with all levels of the government for many years. For example, ATech designed and built a website to empower Seqwater to provide reliable, real-time information to users when they need it most — such as during flooding events.

“As a prequalified supplier, it means less hoops the government is required to jump through to be able to work with ATech for a particular digital project. The Queensland Government’s Buy Queensland approach to procurement puts Queensland jobs as the first priority.

“We are excited by the possibilities this panel brings and are grateful for a streamlined procurement process. The Queensland government’s investment in ICT last financial year was approximately $1.09 billion and its focus areas for 2022–23 include ‘improving the customer experience of government services’ and ‘improving value for money’.

“Since the launch of Buy Queensland in 2017, over 66,400 Queensland businesses have supplied approximately $48 billion in goods and services to the Queensland Government. As a Queensland-based business, we look forward to expanding our provision of services to the government and seeing the benefits to the local economy,” she said.
