Delos Delta joins Smart Cities Council
Management consulting company Delos Delta has joined the Smart Cities Council Australia New Zealand (SCCANZ) to help drive digital transformation within the region.
Canberra-based Delos Delta has experience supporting government departments in developing smart city and digital economy strategies, change management plans, digital service transformation, smart city business cases, economic assessment and financing models.
The company has been involved in the design and delivery of major smart city projects including free public Wi-Fi, smart parking, smart buildings, smart street lighting and smart waste initiatives.
Delos Delta also works with developers on the design of smart suburbs and precincts and helps technology vendors refine their products for government customers.
“Delos Delta’s managing director, Brook Dixon, is a leading authority on smart cities and digital transformation within the region and globally, and we are extremely happy to have the company join the Smart Cities Council family,” SCCANZ’s executive director Adam Beck said.
“Delos Delta continues to support organisations of all sizes across both urban and regional Australia. Mr Dixon’s deep experience in delivering these types of projects with local government is second to none. With such an emerging smart cities agenda in Australia, having someone like Mr Dixon engage in the activities of the Smart Cities Council is going to be extremely beneficial.”
SCCANZ recently announced its policy and leadership task force, consisting of members including the Logan, Waverley, Ipswich, Adelaide and Canterbury Bankstown Tablelands Regional Councils as well as council partners EY and KPMG.
