Guided buying a step closer with ProcurePoint's replacement

ProcurePoint, the NSW Government’s one-stop shop for agency and department purchasing, is being progressively replaced with buy.nsw.

Now in beta testing, buy.nsw will offer ‘guided buying’ as part of a centralised ‘gateway’ for procurement information and platforms.

Guided buying will help users:

  • use filters, keywords and natural language to search for information they need within specific libraries
  • receive relevant content by sharing context
  • view content according to category.

According to a post on the ProcurePoint website, the development team has completed building the libraries that are at the heart of guided buying.

Schemes content has been updated, and as of 24 January 2019 users are being redirected from the ProcurePoint website to buy.nsw.

More content will be uploaded in February and March, with users redirected as each section goes live.

The ProcurePoint website will remain active during this time, and bookmarked links will continue to work.
