UiPath partners with Amelia for AI service desks

Enterprise automation software company UiPath has teamed up with trusted AI company Amelia to create a fully integrated IT digital agent solution capable of delivering personalised employee experiences at scale.

The joint solution will combine the UiPath Business Automation Platform with Amelia’s conversational AI technology to create an automated, AI-driven IT service desk designed to reimagine employee experiences.

The platform will enable employees to make support requests over chat, messaging or voice. Amelia technology will process the request and natively integrate with UiPath software robots to process a request.

Once complete, Amelia summarises the resolution for the employee via their preferred channel, or if a request cannot be resolved it is automatically escalated to support agents.

UiPath SVP of Alliances and Business Development Dhruv Asher said the two companies are ideal partners because they follow similar philosophies.

“Path is motivated by the fundamental beliefs that automation liberates humanity’s boundless potential and that it is critical to transform employee experiences in today’s resource-constrained market,” he said.

“In Amelia, we found a partner that is both home to a market-leading conversational AI solution and perfectly aligned with our mission and vision for automation. We are thrilled to bring our joint solution to market to help employees everywhere and drive productivity at organisations around the world.”
